Aug 05, 2005 · audacity with mp3 support But the audacity I had and installed with yum some months ago did have mp3 support. I don't understand the change - a package shouldn't be allowed to be upgraded with a different/reduced version.

Jul 11, 2004 · Thanks for that recommendation. The only odd thing is, if you try to save an mp3 file, it asks you to look for libmp3lame.so.0. It finds it for you, you select it, and no more problems saving as mp3. But even after that, if you try to IMPORT and mp3, it says it's not compiled with mp3 support! -- Colin Paul Adams Preston Lancashire
