Aug 20, 2017 · I noticed the other day in the AMD settings that HDCP was disabled, which has prevented the playing of some HD content on my desktop (i.e., rented movies). I'm running an R9 380X with Windows 10 64-bit Home; I've tried installing/reinstalling the latest WHQL driver (17.7.2) and I've even switched the monitor (since the other one had died).

Jun 07, 2014 · I was online for several hours with Nvidia Tech Support last night, but they have no clue and haven't been able to provide me with an answer to the problem. I've looked for other HDCP test software or some other way to narrow down the problem, but I can't find anything. The Nvidia driver doesn't have any HDCP settings or anything.

Aug 21, 2016 · Both PowerDVD 16 and WinDVD 11 programs identified the graphics driver as the problem saying "it's unable to playback protected content" I am 100% certain my setup is HDCP compliant and, as I said before, I was playing protected Blu-ray and DVD discs just fine before on the exact same setup. Oct 02, 2009 · I am on Vista-64bit with latest drivers (nvidia and dell monitor driver. I have a 8800gtx card and 2 Dell 2407wfp monitors attached via DVI. In the nvidia control panel, I do not see anything related to HDCP. In the display panel, it just says DVI. The monitors and the card have HDCP support.
