Nov 12, 2012 · I am not an Exchange user so I am just offering what I found jjgchief. 0x80072f17 is explained as ERROR_INTERNET_SEC_CERT_ERRORS, which means certificate that was issued to your web site cannot be used for ActiveSync. Confirm that you have configured your device correctly. See what happens if you disable the SSL connection between Exchange and PDA.

I have setup the Exchange info on the mobile and have it set to use SSL. Whenever I attempt to sync, I receive a support code 0x80072F17. My priority is the mobile device, but thought this might be of use... I cannot get RPC over HTTP to work, either.
