Sep 16, 2012 · EVDO Rev. B is a doomed standard; it didn't improve CDMA2000's spectral efficiency like HSPA+ improved GSM/UMTS (adding QAM-64 and MIMO). EVDO Rev. B didn't seem to increase the spectral efficiency of CDMA2000; just just allowed the bonding of more CDMA2000 channels with the existing Rev.

It does NOT support Rev B according to the manufacture who made the chip. Now here is a little tale for you all. The T-Mobil and AT&T version DOES have the proper chip in theirs and yes will support Rev B. They also have the newer broadcom chip to support NFC and the FM Radio. Does the sprint rpic 4g touch support NFC and fm radio - NO it doesnt.
