Apr 06, 2004 · Firstly, the manual states that a wired connection is required to set up the router. Whilst I find this a little odd, the unit is at least supplied with Ethernet AND USB cables. OS - Win 98se

Posted: 10-03-2003 01:21 PM Post subject: Etec adsl modem/router setup win98?? Hi folks, Have Etec adsl modem/router 4xethernet 1xusb. Have installed the drivers on the CD. I do not see any modem added in my settings/control panel/modem. The driver install only added a "conexant usb network adaptor" and a "conexant usb network interface" Q1.

Mar 10, 2007 · Yes you can change your router ip address. For most routers the ip address is 192.168.1.1. I use a laptop to setup routers, connect an Ethernet cable from one of the Ethernet ports on the router to the Ethernet port on your NIC card/adapter (I use an adapter that connects to an USB port)and you are most of the way there.
