Jul 13, 2010 · When you upgrade an ESXi 4.0 host to ESXi 4.1, then roll the host back to ESXi 4.0, the ESXi 4.1 versions of VMware Tools and the vSphere Client remain on the host When you upgrade a host from ESXi 4.0 to ESXi 4.1, VMware Tools and the vSphere Client for ESXi 4.0 are removed and replaced with the ESXi 4.1 version of these components.

Feb 16, 2016 · If I go to my vmWare account I will be able to download free version of ESXi 5 and 6, but not version 4.
