The ESKD drawing templates and Annotate (ESKD) tab on the ribbon are used together to create GOST-compliant drawings in Inventor. Load the ESKD Support add-in to display the Annotate (ESKD) tab on the ribbon. From within the application: Open Autodesk Inventor or Autodesk Inventor Professional. On the ribbon, click Tools tab Options panel Add-Ins.

ESKD Support add-in loaded In the past month I've seen a few cases where the ESKD Support add-in loaded and is causing confusion when annotations are being placed on drawings. These individuals either didn't know what the ESKD add-in was or even how it got loaded since they haven't touched their add-in manager for months.

ESKD is the Unified System of Design Documentation, a subset of the GOST standard. Load the ESKD Support add-in, and after you add or create your drawing, switch to the Annotate (ESKD) tab to add GOST-compliant features. The Annotate (ESKD) tab replaces the Annotate tab for GOST users.

Oct 30, 2015 · The Clue to resolving this, is the (ESKD) label on the Annotate tab. ESKD is support for the Russian GOST standard. If we disable the ESKD support add-in as shown below. Tools > Add-Ins and then unload the ESKD support add-in. The Annotate tab will now be back to normal and the Leader tool will work as expected and as shown below.

Oct 30, 2015 · You may have also been unaware of it because you don’t use the ESKD Support add-in or apply any GOST annotations to your Inventor drawings. But if you do, you would’ve noticed the Technical Requirements function under the Annotate (ESKD) ribbon tab.
