Jan 12, 2015 · Going back to work from the Support Group ... Part of the problem is the dichotomy of "support" vs "work related" within ESA. This is for many reasons a nonsense but occurs because ESA tries to be too many things rather than being an out of work benefit for working age adults.

Up until June last year I was in receipt of ESA Support Group and worked 10 hours per week, I had to give my job up due to continued ill health, and even though my hours were dropped to 8 per week I could not continue. My wage at the time was £110 per week so I came under the £115.00 threshold.
