Jan 07, 2010 · My environment is: server 2003 sp2 sccm sp2 wsus 3.0 sp2 I am trying to enable unknown computer support with the PXE service point properties and unfortunately that check box is not available? Does this option work with server 2003 or do I need server 2008? I tried uninstall the PXE service point and WDS, restarted the server.

Jun 08, 2009 · Unknown Computer support in SCCM 2007 is a great feature, but recently I had trouble getting the thing to work. Basically all computers that are not in the SCCM database will be treated as Unknwon computers (either x86 or x64), so when a new computer boots up it will automatically receive advertisements for these objects.
