Mar 13, 2015 · I am using Ansys Workbench; therefore, I dont have that freedom of selecting elements types as in Ansys APDL, to the best of my knowledge. The element type for the part is SOLID186 and for the surface (probably where elastic supprot is applied) is SURF154. Moreover, I have used teterahedral mesh with midpoint nodes. Best Regards, _____
