I have installed Smarty Feature on a new Eclipse PDT (Mars) as described and the Content Type .tpl is now assigned to Smarty Editor. Syntax highlighting seems to work, but autocompletion and the configured templates doesn't work with Strg + Space. Popup displays "no proposals".

Has anyone managed to install the Smarty plugin into their PDT (LUNA) IDE normally? I've got it running using JUNO files by using the following steps (sequence is important): Using Windows Explorer, delete org.eclipse.php_3.3.0.201406110111 from the features folder of the Eclipse install.

Are there any good Eclipse plugins for creating smarty templates? I am using Europa with PDT on Ubuntu (though I doubt the OS will make a difference for this). I found SmartyPDT, but it did not seem to install properly and some of the discussions on it seemed to suggest it was for an older version of PDT.
