Sep 25, 2008 · New to the E71 & first smartphone. I have set up Mail for Exchange which is working fine, however all incoming & sent messages have the same date 02/01/1980 10.00, which makes sorting messages a little difficult. Is this a phone setting or is it from the exchange server side? Any help appreciated.

Mar 23, 2009 · We have bought some Nokia E71 phones and have installed the Nokia Mail for Exchange from Nokia web and configured this to synch mail and calendar items from our Exchange 2007 server, but after 1-2 weeks it stops working; either only mail is replicated, only calendar is replicated or nothing at all.

Hi. My e71 sync's fine with exchange. But only from the mail inbox not from my sub folders. And it is the same with contacts. This is a major problem if you have a lot of contacts and mails coming in. I spoke to Nokia support and they blamed exchange. Any ideas? Reply Delete

The fellas over at E-series.org reported the news a few weeks ago that Mail for Exchange has been updated to version 2.9. In case you haven't tried MFE, it's Nokia's solution to checking your Microsoft Exchange business email from your E71.

Apr 22, 2009 · Nokia <> Exchange connections use a separate program called "Mail for Exchange" currently at version 2.9. Does not have HTML support within the emails meaning all emails you see/read is in text. HTML allows you to do the funky stuff like fonts support, bold, pictures etc like a webpage.
