IMPORTANT: 5Ghz is not supported by DD-WRT due to the USB interface Tx power rating. The E3200 has an internal amplifier for each radio. You can use some of these figures to come up with what Tx power rating would be best for you. As factory lists it a max of 20dBm then a setting of 100mW could be used as 20dBm = 100mW 17dBm = 50mW and so on.

And this discussion really doesn't have much relevancy to getting 5GHz support to the E3200.

Mar 28, 2018 · That's a pity. I have been a fan of DD-WRT for many years but I need a firmware that supports the 5Ghz radio on my E3200. I recently switched to Shibby's tomato build on my E3200 and things work perfectly. Goodbye DD-WRT.
