Mar 18, 2013 · 5GHz on the E2500 and the E3200 is implemented through a USB connection. This requires a different driver in order to support it(wl_high). As far as I know, nobody has it implemented for dd-wrt. Fractal's builds might contain the module. Not too sure though.

DD-WRT Build Info. Brainslayer added E2000 support in 14929, and builds are found in the broadcom_K26 folder for each build. Build 25974 works well but later k2.6 builds have VAP issues. Initial flash: 21061 K2.6 mini-e2000 Build 33492 loads on the E2000 and wireless works. [Tmittelstaedt] Erase nvram from CLI highly recommended.

dd-wrt upgrade problems when you have more than one unit that you have accessed before from the same browser. Clear cache and cookies #when upgrading make sure you choose reset to firmware defaults or you may have problems getting web interface after like me!

As soon as I upgraded my Linksys E2500 V1 firmware to the 2.0 version, I noticed the 5ghz network would not broadcast, It kept stating the Channel and Band as “N/A” on the Status page even though they were both set to “auto”. Rebooted the router and even reset to factory settings and still nothing.
