is dynamics AX supported on VMware I need to supply information to a client who is going to buy Dynamics AX and wants to know if he can virtualize the application under VMware vSphere 4. So my question is: Can my customer use VMware or does he have install the application under Hyper-V?

Hello, We have a customer currently deploying a (800 users) Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 environment. We want to run this on a vsphere 5.1 U1 environment but the customer is told by Microsoft and Dynamic partners that vmware + dynamics is a bad combination.

Jun 14, 2018 · We have deployed Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 using App volumes and RDS. We have a comparison from the end user that the performance is much better in a physical machine than the virtual desktop or the published apps. We can see a micro lag when the user is provide their inputs to the MS Dynamics AX. Below is the current environment. Horizon 7.2
