dwm-xft. dwm-xft - personalized dwm's fork with xft support. This is personal repository, although there's change that it may be useful for others. I migrated to i3wm. Repository still holds dwm files but these won't be mantained anymore.

URxvt.font: xft:inconsolata:size=10 So, I believe the best bet would be to just patch Xft support into dwm, but I can't seem to find a patch anywhere and I'm not sure how to do it myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am currently using dwm 5.8.2.

dwm has no Lua integration, no 9P support, no shell-based configuration, no remote control, and comes without any additional tools, such as for printing the selection or warping the mouse. dwm is only a single binary, and its source code is intended to never exceed 2000 SLOC.

The Xft mess has to be retired in favour for plain old Xfonts. While I very much agree with the idea (I'm a suckless fan), this is going to be a problem for those of us with high dpi displays. Fortunately we're starting to see bitmap fonts with hdpi support like Terminus, but that means little choice when it …
