The DSI Tempest is an analog drum machine released in 2011 for $2,000. Upon release, many features were missing out of the box. While most of these issues have been addressed in previous updates, there is still a sizable list of problems and glitches to address.

Feb 26, 2019 · Swore I would never buy DSI again, but later picked-up a Pro-2 with which I have fallen in love. If you do go for a Tempest be aware that you will need to synthesise your own drum sounds and it's going to take a while before you get comfortable. It is not an instant gratification machine in that sense. Some help available from:
