May 20, 2018 · Hi everybody, I run a website with Drupal 6 with integrated simplenews and php 5.2. My Provider wants to cancel php 5.2 for security reasons, so I created a copy of the website, and testet it under php 5.3

Jan 18, 2009 · Does Drupal 6.x support PHP5.3? I have downloaded yesterday's snapshot of Drupal6-x-dev, found out that non of the patches have been added to it. So I'm wondering whether Drupal 6 is going to support PHP 5.3.

Nov 09, 2018 · Drupal 8. Drupal 8 will drop support for PHP 5 on March 6, 2019. We recommend updating to at least PHP 7.1 if possible, and ideally PHP 7.2, which is supported as of Drupal 8.5 (which was released March, 2018). Drupal 8.7 (to be released in May, 2019) will support PHP 7.3, and we may backport PHP 7.3 support to Drupal 8.6 in the coming months ...

Dec 06, 2011 · My drupal-6 is hosted on ubuntu 9.10. Now ubuntu is stop support for 9.10 Because ubuntu support only 2years. Currently ubuntu 11.04 is release. My problem is ubuntu 10+ is come with php-5.3, We can downgrade php-5.3 to 5.2 but its not work properly some php libraries are not working.

Our current Drupal 7 site runs on PHP 5.3 environment. But the server provider insisting to upgrade the PHP version to PHP 5.6 as they are about to end the support for PHP 5.3 and PHP 5.5 .

Dec 04, 2019 · Keep in mind as of 7.62, the minimum secure requirements as governed by the drupal community are 5.3.3. See SA-CORE-2019-002. Regarding PHP 7 support: Dries is encouraging us to move to PHP 7 since PHP 5.6 is EOL 31st of December 2018. Most contributed modules now support PHP 7.

Dec 29, 2019 · Drupal 8 dropped support for PHP 5.5 and 5.6 in May 2019 and new installs require 7.0.8 or newer. We recommend updating to at least PHP 7.2. (Ubuntu 18.04 ships with PHP 7.2 and Debian stable has 7.3.) Note: This does not affect Drupal 7 which remains compatible with PHP 5.2.4 and higher.
