Maybe ES-File-Explorer is communicating with the USB-Drive so Shield never sets it to sleep, because i think Shield is the problem. Jan 29, 2016 · NVIDIA SHIELD can only read one partition. If your hard drive has more than one partition (like a hidden EFI partition), then that may be the 218 kb partition it is reading.
