    Mar 09, 2010 · Which drive should I convert? I'd converted my (d:) and than this Drive D:\ (FAT32) does not support single files > 4 GB in size was gone, but something replaced it.     Jan 07, 2005 · Sri, to hold files larger than 4GB you need to have your file system set as NTFS not FAT32. Win ME does not support this, you will need to upgrade to win2000 or winXP. What this means is that you cannot make an ISO image of a disk to store on your hard drive. You might be able to rip in file mode but as i don't have FAT32, i am not sure about that.

When you burn a disc, an image is made on the hard disk - this has all the data that is going to go onto the disk in a single file.
