Feb 28, 2013 · The DPM Developer that replied to my request did not think there was a technical limitation behind not supporting D-T for Exchange 2010 DAG. When they implemented E2010 support, D-T as a scenario didn’t make the prioritized list, and is not currently on the roadmap. D2T is not DPM's strenght area as we do D2D very well, so enhancing tape support is low priority.

Jun 09, 2010 · DPM 2010 provides node based protection so the state of the DB on the node - wheather it is an Active copy or a Passive copy of the Exchange 2010 DB does not matter. The state of the DB my switch back and forth from Active to Passive, but DPM will continue to protect the DB as long as the Exchange server is up and running.
