Doxygen: Main Page

    http://doxygen.nl/
Doxygen is the de facto standard tool for generating documentation from annotated C++ sources, but it also supports other popular programming languages such as C, Objective-C, C#, PHP, Java, Python, IDL (Corba, Microsoft, and UNO/OpenOffice flavors), Fortran, VHDL, Tcl, and to some extent D. Doxygen can help you in three ways:

FILTER_PATTERNS = *.tcl=bin\tcl_converter.bat where bin\tcl_converter.bat would just be a batch script that launches a custom processor. We used it to minimally change the tcl syntax into something that doxygen would understand before the tcl support was added. But, you could use it here to just remove all of the non-exported methods.

Doxygen having trouble with my TCL examples - Stack Overflow

    https://stackoverflow.com/questions/48898188/doxygen-having-trouble-with-my-tcl-examples
I found excellent information about introducing examples into my Doxygen output. Unfortunately, TCL scripts do not seem to work with the @examples command. The examples page shows up but the entry for my included script has a horizontal rule where the example code should appear. (I can go into the Chrome developer's mode and confirm that the DIV tag pairs at this point have nothing between them.)

Doxygen Manual: Documenting the code

    http://doxygen.nl/manual/docblocks.html
Inside doxygen comment blocks all normal doxygen markings are supported. The only exceptions are described in the following two paragraphs. If a doxygen comment block ends with a line containing only #\code or #@code all code until a line only containing #\endcode or #@endcode is added to the generated documentation as code block.

As of version 1.7.5. doxygen does support Tcl directly (see doxygen+tcl). It is also possible to write a filter that convert the Tcl source code in to something similar to C++. Doxygen can call this filter when it is needed. George Petasis: There is a small flex tool than act as a doxygen filter, to generate documentation with doxygen from tcl ...

Oct 22, 2012 · Thank you for the support so far. Native tcl support in doxygen is great! I poked around a little and found that doxygen 1.8.2 produces correctly formatted inline snippets for rtf output and probably for latex. The call graphs disappear for INLINE_SOURCES = NO also for rtf/latex. Further, it seems that also "Referenced by .." listings depend on
