Dec 27, 2011 · Question: Q: Windows Support Software download stuck. I'm trying to boot camp my Mac Book Air 13' 2011 which runs OS X Lion. I managed to partition my HD without a problem as well as install Windows 7 64 bit on it. However, when I went back to try to download the Windows Support Software using Boot Camp Assistant, it downloads to about 25% stalls.

Does anyone know why the download for Windows 10 upgrade freezes? I have the app to start the Windows 10 Setup and while downloading, the darn thing gets up to 77% and stops. It has done this twice now. I had other computers do the same thing as well.

Oct 27, 2015 · I have updated to windows 10 about three weeks ago, and things are acting a little funky. One of the most important things is that Windows update hangs. For me, it hangs at 92 percent when downloading the Malicious Software Removal Tool for September. This is weird because in the previous weeks, I could download and install new updates just fine.

Moreover, the install disk and the recovery disk are showing that the MBP is still on Lion - the install disk is still showing the "install Snow Leopard" dialogue box while the recovery disk is showing the option "Set up and restore Lion" (or something like that, I can't remember), while when choosing the startup disk, it shows "Macintosh HD Mac OS X 10.6.7"!
