Aug 14, 2008 · Hello, I am after help making A Bootable CD so that I can update my motherboards BIOS. Windows ME boot disc does not support NTFS or SATA (so i can't access the disc after it has booted nor the Hard Drive), The images provided by Microsofts website are designed for diskettes and I dont know any program that will burn them all to a disc.

Aug 02, 2008 · This whole topic is stupid. if the person had legit copy of norton ghost he could just boot from the norton ghost CD, which can also run from windows and create a bootable CD or FLoppy that uses DR.DOS to run. Even 2003 supports SATA.

There is much that a DOS boot CD will not do, much that others will, and they are as easy to download, burn and boot. The DOS CD is therefore a distraction because DOS is so obsolete it is crippled by comparison.
