Mar 12, 2008 · If it's a Win95 OSR2 or Win98 disk, be sure you say NO to the "enable large disk support" question, then you can be sure not to make the partition too large for DOS to see. Create just a primary, re-install DOS, then use the DOS 6.22 fdisk to create the extended partition. HTH Jerry

Dec 12, 2012 · I want to run MS DOS 6.22 as the only OS with other 8 bit apps like Qbasic 1.1 and Foxpro for DOS with DotMatrix Printer support on newer PCs like Dell Inspiron 660s Desktop - only DBMS is required. Graphics, Multimedia, networking, internet etc., are not required on this MS DOS 6.22 PC. Can DOS RAM limit, DOS hard disk limit etc., be got over?

Jul 19, 2011 · I have acquired a large suite of dBase programs which I have no wish to rewrite. They work under a version of dBase which itself ran under DOS6.22, I believe, and are well tuned to the job I need to run. I can load DOS 6.22 from an iso file exactly as described, and it works.
