Mar 12, 2009 · What I don’t understand is that, by keeping support for those "big" corporations that require IE 6, Microsoft is preventing sales of Vista (since it comes with IE 7) and will hamper future 7 sales (since 7 will come with IE 8) because MS STILL supports IE 5, 6 and 7.

IE7 has been around since 2006. And currently IE7 only has about 4% market share in the browser market worldwide. Most of the big software companies have dropped support for IE7. This includes Google, Facebook, Drupal, and even Microsoft (its creator) encouraged / forced users to auto-update to the latest version of IE.

Feb 27, 2015 · Websites I need don't support IE7 I am a poor college student who got my mom's Surface when my computer died. It has become the biggest hassle of my life. I can barely download anything and websites I need for college do not support Internet Explorer 7. But my Surface does not support any other browser or an update of this browser.
