May 17, 2019 · AMD's latest Ryzen lineup has hyperthreading. They just don't call it “hyperthreading”.They call it as SMT(Simultaneous Multi Threading).Along with XFR & SenseMI the cores automatically overclock when optimum cooling is present.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyper-threading
Hyper-threading (officially called Hyper-Threading Technology or HT Technology and abbreviated as HTT or HT) is Intel's proprietary simultaneous multithreading (SMT) implementation used to improve parallelization of computations (doing multiple tasks at once) performed on x86 microprocessors.

Dec 08, 2016 · Hyperthreading was originally introduced with the Intel Pentium IV as a way of allowing multiple threads to run simultaneously on a single socket. Today, CPU cores have largely replaced hyperthreading, but there are still some systems that support hyperthreading. Some CPUs combine the technology by supporting hyperthreading inside of cores.

As AutoCAD doesn't use multithreading you see absolutely no advantage over a single core machine, it always tops out at 50%. As for 4GB of memory, that's the maximum addressable by 32 bit Windows so your page file is pretty much redundant. Get a 64bit AMD X2 …

Dec 13, 2011 · Re:hyperthreading and games? 2011/12/12 00:40:03 It's not that games aren't made to support hyperthreading, it's that games aren't optimized to take advantage of highly multi-cored cpu's. Hyperthreading is like a poor man's additional core: it lets one core that is not being utilized 100% do the work of two real cores.

Dec 17, 2014 · No. Hyperthreading is a proprietary way of running multiple CPU threads at once. If you are searching for an AMD equivalent there is none (unless you consider 64 bit performance gains while they are still AMD territory). Quantispeed is simply the name of …

Hyperthreading is when a physical processor core allows its resources to be allocated as multiple logical processors. A single physical processor will often not use all of its resources (such as its registers) and can allow the unused portions to become available as separate logical processors.
