Feb 04, 2011 · Hello. I seem to be having a very similar problem as another user. I am trying to connect WinSCP to WS_FTP using SFTP. I have no issues connecting with FTP or if I use Filezilla I can connect using both SFTP and FTP. Here is the log file for WinSCP. I realize it must be a simple setting that I am missing but I am not sure what it is. Please help!

Jul 15, 2008 · If I use WinSCP in standard FTP mode it connects without any problems. If I change it to use SSH then it connects to the server but times out complaining that the server is not responding. I am able to connect to the SSH server using WS_FTP Professional 2007 and SmartFTP.
