The WRT54G WILL NOT work with PPTP VPN no matter what I try. I spent hours with tech support opening port after port with no success (though I don't think this should have to be done if the thing actually worked like it is supposed to).

Nov 21, 2017 · yeah k24 vpn on a 4 or 8 MB flash wrt54g still works fine any K26 on a 4 MB flash router is a waste these days and only 8 MB flash routers can run K3x.....just barely....and that does not include wrt54g.

Jul 08, 2008 · dmd3x 1. Are you running the VPN version of dd-wrt.. The micro version does not support this, the version of your wrt54g needs to be able to run the bigger vpn version of the firmware.
