hello everyone ! I am going to install UEFI windows 10 on my 500GB disk and also want to install a windows xp sp3 on my 80GB disk . I know that xp doesn't support GPT & UEFI so i keep that 80GB MBR and fortunately my motherboard has dual boot BIOS so i don't need to change from UEFI to BIOS everytime i run win xp .

Jan 13, 2011 · Does anyone know if its possible to boot Windows XP 32-bit on a UEFI enabled Sandy Bridge motherboard? From what I read the only Microsoft Operating Systems to support UEFI were the special Windows XP 64-bit editions for the Itanium processor only and now Windows Vista, 7 and Server 2008 editions.

Aug 12, 2018 · Technically, you can boot from a MBR disk in EFI mode, knowing that you have a FAT32 partition containing the .EFI boot files. That means you cannot boot from a Windows XP (legacy) MBR disk in EFI mode. Just a guy with a strange addiction to operating systems.

Jan 15, 2006 · Theres a folder on the HD called Boot. Inside of that is a folder called EFI. Inside of that is all the Windows XP boot files encoded to boot on a EFI based machine. Someone try a SP2 Pro disc on their Mac and lemme know what happens! EDIT : Added a picture to show that I'm not crazy.
