Oct 16, 2012 · it does work on my old XP machine (different hardware) using the dvi port a different LCD monitor does work on the windows 7 machine with the same cable so the card & cable are obviously ok. Device manager shows that i have the 'Generic PnP Monitor' driver installed.

Hi, I have a Dell branded GeForce card w/ 64 MB RAM (it's listed as NV10). The spec sheets that I've seen all say that this card should support DVI output at up to 1600x1200. I have a new Formac Gallery LCD that is 1280x1024 native, but I can't get Windows XP to display at that resolution.

Jul 23, 2015 · Going through the AMD drivers and support page, if I select R9 2XX series, for Windows XP and XP X64, driver version 14.4 is shown and for Windows 7 (64 bit) version 15.7 is shown. For R9 3XX series, only Windows 7 and later are shown for Windows drivers, so I assume that the XP driver will not work with 300 series cards.Reviews: 1

No, this is beyond DVI spec and I haven't been able to successfully force it. You can, however, achieve 2K (2560x1440) @60Hz over a single dual-link DVI cable, and you can achieve 4K (3840x2160) @30Hz over a single dual-link DVI cable.
