Oct 06, 2008 · 4850 Crossfire with WinXP Recently swapped 3850@1000/2200 for dual 4850's in WinXP. Crossfire "X" needs Vista. If I must use Vista I will, but it seems it is required with the newer drivers to get proper crossfire even with dual 4000's or a 4870x2.
