Windows 7 Starter, Home Basic, and Home Premium will only work with one physical processor. 32 bit versions support 32 cores, 64 bit supports 256 cores, but all cores have to be on the same physical processor.

Aug 16, 2016 · I don't think that Windows 7 "lacks" 4K support - rather, it doesn't support HiDPI displays and text scaling all that well, compared to Windows 10. I was able to get VSR running on my 1920x1080P monitor, at a resolution of 2560x1440, just fine in Windows 7. But I had 1:1 scaling, so icons and text got tiny.
