    Apr 30, 2007 · The Wii does indeed support 16:9, but only in games that support it, naturally (very few gamecube games but a good deal of Wii games). I wish it ran the 4:3 games in pillarboxes like the 360 does with the 4:3 Xbox games, but you can't have everything. Wii games look pretty good on my LCD (hell of a lot better than most PS2 games, anyway).
