The Linksys by Cisco products will not work in WDS configuration, i can't say if it is able to repeat a signal we have not tested that. The solution we used is the Cisco Small Business serie WRVS4400n router and the WAP4410n and after a lot of work and testing we had it up and running with a little help from Cisco support.

the wag160n is also used as the dsl modem, changing the mode under basic setup wont work as the modem cant be used for dsl then (now ppoe). i want to connect it to trendset wireless N router using WDS. how can i do that? the trendset would be the repeater, it has wds mode option. but i need to enter the macaddress of that router here.

Mar 16, 2009 · the WAG325N does not support WDS? ... if you read the above posts you will see that wds does NOT work on the wag. the dd wrt firmware is for the ops asus wireless router. if you attempt to install th dd wrt firmware on the wag you will kill it. User #80086 120 posts. wechap.
