Feb 17, 2008 · Support page on vsftpd said there is nothing to set for vsftpd to support FXP, but it does suggest loosen some passive port setting in case there is problem. I have loosen the setting on both machines to the minimal security level, allowing full anonymous access, and setting DMZ zone on router to forward all ports to both machines, test on files that have Chmod to 777.

Can you use SFTP with VSFTPD. I have installed vsftpd on my Ubuntu 16.04 server, and can connect fine using SFTP for a single user. I want to set up additional users and give them the ability to connect to their home directories (or a sub directory of that), via SFTP too.

Re: Number of simultaneous FTP/FXP sessions and transfers The following steps should work to update the setting, Max_per_ip in the vsftpd.conf file. Note that each Isilon node runs its own independant copy of this software, therefore a change made here will not replicate to other nodes.
