Mar 26, 2009 · The software RAID feature of both RAID 0 and RAID 1 are only supported in the Server operating system and you are not allowed to create RAID in Windows Vista OS. For the client computer, we recommend our customer to purchase the RAID controller card to build the hardware RAID.

Dec 22, 2006 · If it was Server it would enable RAID 0, 1, and 5 support. If it was Workstation, it would only enable RAID 0. This was the same hack you used to turn a Workstation into Server.

Jan 31, 2007 · Yes your best to have updated Raid drivers ready to add at the install stage, you now do not need them to be on floppy, the driver files can be on USB pen drives, CD, DVD as Vista will recognise those locations for driver installs.

May 16, 2009 · Re: Raid 0 Vista 64, IDE Vista 32 by Grav!ty » Sat May 16, 2009 1:00 am Once booted to your Vista 64 installation on the RAID 0 setup, you should be able to shrink that partition from Disk Management (right click the drive>Shrink), and then install Vista 32 on the new partition that is created.
