Nov 27, 2011 · I just update to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and purchased the iPhoto '11 9.2. Photostream does not appear to work with Snow Leopard. There is no option to turn the iCloud client on with the snow leopard OS and therefore not a way to stream.

Sep 24, 2018 · MacBook Air 4,x and later can't run Snow Leopard, while 3,x and earlier with at least 1 GB of RAM can run Snow Leopard. iMac 12,1 i3 (EMC 2496 on foot, MC978LL/A) can't run Snow Leopard, while the 12,x i5 and i7 can run Snow Leopard, and the iMac 1,1 through 11,x can run Snow Leopard with at least 1 GB of RAM.

Snow Leopard, in contrast, uses powers of 10: 1000 bytes equals a kilobyte, 1000 kilobytes equals a megabyte, 1000 megabytes equals a gigabyte, etc. So a 1TB disk that shows its formatted capacity as 931GB in Leopard will show it as 999GB in Snow Leopard. Does my Mac support OpenCL?

Apple states that all Intel-based Macs with at least 1 GB of RAM, 5 GB of available hard drive space, and a DVD drive -- or access to one, as the case may be for the MacBook Air models -- are capable of running MacOS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard".
