Aug 02, 2011 · It does use SIM cards. The distinction from Rogers is that Bell doesn't have a 2G GSM network. (HSPA speeds are enhancements of WCDMA that allow faster data) Bottom line: devices that support UMTS 850/1900 will work on the Bell network with a Bell SIM card. It specifically has to say UMTS (or WCDMA) not just GSM.
