Jan 16, 2015 · Radeon X1300/X1550 Series Secondary from ATI Technologies, Inc. is not Compatible. After going to the AMD website, it says I can download a new driver so it is compatible with Windows 8, but do I do this after I install or before I install? To me this is the graphics card on my monitor so does that mean if it isn't installed I can't use my monitor?

I also have to 15" monitors that I aquired recently that I would like to set up as dual monitors on my x1300 video card.

VisionTek tech support indicates that the X1550 has a Core Processing Speed of 500 MHz - vs. the 450 MHz in model X1300 - so model X1550 is a faster card.
