    Apr 01, 2015 · I've just installed tahr puppy 6.0 on my laptop and everything works fine, except the wireless internet connection. My Wi-Fi network has WPA2 security and that doesn't seem compatible with puppy. I'm currently using a wired connection but that kinda beats the purpose of having a laptop.

    Jun 19, 2008 · On the AES issue. I'd love to run WPA2 instead of WPA but I have an older laptop and the nic doesn't support WPA2 (or so I've discovered from the windows side). I thought the WPA2 support was hardware so unless there's some way to to make the card play WPA2 with Puppy I'm handcuffed into running WPA which leads us back to preferring AES over TKIP.
