When I plug the external monitor in before booting the laptop, all display went to the external monitor and the laptop got a black screen. If I hot plug it, the external monitor was not recognized. The laptop used intel's shared graphic (Sandy bridge, with a core i7 cpu).

Nov 01, 2018 · How can I dual boot win10 and puppy linux. I have a travelmate b113 running windows10 and am trying to install puppy linux dual boot. I have changed secure boot and uefi and set hdd password to off in the bios, but still it wont boot dual but I can now boot from a live puppy usb stick.

May 13, 2007 · If you have a pcmia video card though you can do a dual monitor setup.(have done this under windows but not puppy) I could be wrong since laptops are so different but both of my laptops (this one which now runs 100% puppy for the last 2 or so months and my "wifes" laptop which is a vista machine) work this way.

Dual booting is completely fine but TBH I do multiboot for different linux distros now, not windows. Linux plays super nice with other installed distros and sometimes you can share the same home partition without many problems!
