His PS3 can't connect to the network if his router is set to only "N" because the PS3 has a built in B,G wireless card. The only console supporting "N" wifi is the 360 with it's adapter.

Mar 10, 2013 · I was reading that apparently if you get a wireless N router and connect it to the ps3 and set it up as an access point that will allow n speeds. Did I read that correctly? I can't believe they don't have an official N adapter for the ps3 like the microsoft does for the xbox 360. Or do they and I haven't found a link for it yet?
