The current card doesn't support wpa2. I am looking for an replacement airport card or an usb wifi card what will work with this computer and supports wpa2. I have searched and came up with nothing.

Sadly the PowerBook as well as the iBook has an older AirPort card which does not have an updated driver that offers WPA within either Tiger or Leopard OS's.

Jan 29, 2008 · It says that its security mode is WPA-Personal. Encryption method is TKIP. And then there is an encryption key. I cannot figure out any way to know if my G4 powerbook running OS 10.3.9 supports this or where or how to enter the encryption key.

However, I created a closed WPA network internally with Airport and now I can’t seem to change the security setting without losing that WPA signal. This WPA network is all the router/Powerbook recognizes, and I can’t lower the setting for friends with WiFi laptops. I know my SSID and lil’ password but not the WPA.
