Jun 07, 2011 · 1. while Geotagging - Picasa slows down to unacceptable levels. The map on right side of the screen has severe difficulties to show up. Then it's almost no responding, so it's a pain to zoom in/out or to apply a geotag (I started geotagging only recently).

Aug 23, 2006 · You will now return to Picasa and your picture is geotagged. You can recognize pictures that are geotagged by the small crosshairs in the bottom right of the picture. Finally I uploaded the pictures to my personal photo gallery. I use Zenphoto for this purpose and by default it does not support reading of geotagging information.

I am geotagging my photos from Picasa 3. I checked my account settings and Import EXIF GPS info is ON I have tried all versions of uploadr, and web interface, but when I upload my images it does not seem to automatically show a "Map" option for the image. Instead there is a "Add to Map" option.

For casual use (and if you're already using it for other reasons such as I am), Breezebrowser Pro (www.breezesys.com) does manual geotagging or can use a GPS tracklog. Picasa (picasa.google.com) is a good geotagging option since it is free and can do easy geotagging using Google Earth.

Dec 01, 2012 · Picasa allows manual geotagging but you have to open Google Earth and go through a time intensive process of finding something on Google Earth, which is way slower than Google Maps for some reason. Does Lightroom have a world map where you can manually geotag a photo? Or does it only support batch geotagging from a GPS logger?
