Nov 02, 2012 · Unfortunately, all earlier x86 processors (apart from AMD Opteron or Athlon 64) don’t support NX bit, which means than most Pentium 4 and Pentium M are not compatible with Windows 8 : the last version of Windows compatible with these old processor is Windows 7.

Apr 30, 2006 · Opteron (Venus core) has the SSE3 instruction set and is recognized fine by OS X x86. Not all the Venice cores have sse3 though, fyi...I think it's the E3 revisions and up. Share this post

Aug 10, 2015 · Here is the datasheet for that CPU: Intel Pentium Dual-Core E6300 - AT80571PH0722ML / BX80571E6300 / BXC80571E6300 It does support NX, PAE, and SSE2 so yes you should be able to use windows 10 on it, but depending on what other hardware you have you may or may not have trouble with drivers.
