Aug 29, 2013 · Please use the camera icon to provide a screenshot showing correct Arabic in Word for Mac, with the name of the font showing as well. That is really great news, but you are the only person I know of who is able to do this. MS itself agrees if you ask them that MS Word for Mac does not support Arabic (or any Indic script).

Nov 11, 2005 · MS Office for Mac simply does not yet support Arabic. What they might have meant by "lack of an Arabic Dictionary" I can't imagine. To do Arabic in OS X use TextEdit, Nisus Writer Express, Mellel, AbiWord, or NeoOffice/J. Most users think Mellel is the best. NeoOffice/J may be a good substitute for MS Office. There is no way to "fix" Office.
