Dec 05, 2013 · I'm still having trouble getting Outlook.com to use POP3/SMTP over SSL/TLS to send and receive email from another provider (Dreamhost.) got it working -- here's the deal. Apparently, Dreamhost uses one domain for non-encrypted POP3/SMTP connections and a different domain for TLS/SSL POP3/SMTP.
