Aug 25, 2018 · What this does is disables the SSL connection for your account, and you can send and receive mails without any problems now. You might run into some people telling you to change the port for outgoing mail, but this is both too complicated, and it often doesn’t work.

Outlook shows below error: login onto incoming mail server(pop3) : your server dows not support the connection encryption type you have specified.Try change encryption method.

Mar 26, 2007 · Are you running the IIS built-in SMTP-server or Exchange (or other external smpt-server)? Reason for the question is that I'm not quite sure how IIS does with the SMTP-server that's builtin when you install a server certificate for the Web server.
