Sep 19, 2014 · Perhaps your graphics card actually DOESN'T support Shader Model 3.0? I can look into it for you. I'm not sure how Shader Model exactly works, but perhaps your computer is designed for Model 4.0 and 5.0, not 3.0. I checked and it's supposed to but perhaps I'm overlooking something. I do appreciate any assistance though.

"Shader model numbers" are not synchronised witth GL versions in any way. Your GL implementation does not support GL3. Ans shader model 3.0 is not enought for GL3. – derhass Mar 9 '14 at 13:21

I do not have money to purchase a new graphics card at this time. Is there any way the developers could allow shader 3.0 and up to play. Maybe include a launch option, with command line parameters to work around this. This game is the only one I own that I would have to spend at least $150 or more to get a playable graphics card.
